The Blanket

The Blanket:

Creeping, crawling, inching, dancing,

All under the blanket

Poking, prodding, stroking, needing,

All under the blanket

Pulling, pushing, tugging, pleading,

All under the blanket

In clock of darkness,

Fingers creep,

Enshrouding the darkness,

Someone screams,

Skin is bare,

Is tickles right there,

All under the blanket.

Naughty, mischievous coy, sublime,

Under the blanket, fingers they climb,

Delicate ballet, nimble they dance,

Under the blanket, hands do prance.

Tossing, turning, shifting, too,

So many legs, hands know what to do,

Up and down, in crevice and over mound,

Under the blanket, secrets are found.

So under the blanket,

Legs still squirm,

Throbbing chests,

Something else is firm,

If you think so much action and it’s not even night,

Just wait five minutes till they turn off the light.
